TACOS BY THE CREEK at Kokte Ranch and Nature Preserve.

Presales are now closed.  We will post any "day of" availability here late morning on the day of the event.  As we will be busy with the picnic, we may not be able to respond to calls or emails immediately.  Thank you to all who have supported Tacos by the Creek!

Enjoy delicious tacos and cider made with ingredients sourced from Kotke Ranch and Caudal Fin Farm co-located at Jacoby Creek Land Trust. Enjoy your picnic at marked socially-distanced locations across Kokte Ranch, or take your meal to go in your containers or ours. Pricing is sliding scale to accommodate inclusiveness; pay what you are comfortable with for tacos and cider, additional donations can be made at the event.  Purchase and schedule pick up time and dining preference below.  

Beef Taco Plate

Three braised beef shank tacos on handmade corn tortillas, cucumber salsa fresca,

curtido (pickled cabbage), roasted pear salsa, beans

Vegan Taco Plate - Sold Out

Three wild mushroom, winter squash, and kale  tacos on handmade corn tortillas,

cucumber salsa fresca, curtido (pickled cabbage), roasted pear salsa, beans

Cider

One quart fresh cider pressed from Jacoby Creek Valley and

Northern Humboldt harvested apples

Menu

Proceeds will support habitat restoration of Jacoby Creek for the benefit of native salmonid species and fisheries genetics research into unique species and life history types found in Northern California.

 

Ingredients sourced from Kokte Ranch and Nature Preserve / Caudal Fin Farm include grass-fed beef shanks, cabbage, carrots, onions, kale, bell and jalapeño peppers, cucumbers, winter squash, apples, cilantro, and Mexican oregano.
