The Jacoby Creek Land Trust conserves land in and around Northern Humboldt Bay to promote healthy creek environments, watershed protection, and sustainable agriculture that is embraced and valued by the local community.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires dedicated problem-solvers who bring diverse perspectives and areas of expertise. The Jacoby Creek Land Trust emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1992, we’re an organization driven by conservation, bold action, and a strong foundation of support. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

“Everything that is done in the world is done by hope”
The Jacoby Creek Land Trust, in partnership with Humboldt County and the City of Arcata, and with funding provided by the State Coastal Conservancy will be leading a study through 2023 to assess options that alleviate flood impacts and improve fish and wildlife habitat in the lower Jacoby Creek watershed. The purpose of this first of three public meetings is to provide information about the goals and desired outcomes of the project and provide an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to ask questions and provide input.
